Support combat veterans and Gold Star families through guided outdoor experiences that restore connection, purpose, and peace.

About Honor Tribe Outdoors:
Rediscover Healing in the Heart of Nature

Honor Tribe Outdoors is a veteran-led nonprofit based in San Angelo, Texas, committed to helping combat veterans and Gold Star families heal from the invisible wounds of war and loss—through nature-based experiences that build brotherhood, resilience, and hope.

We host guided hunting, fishing, and conservation retreats designed to reintroduce peace, purpose, and camaraderie to those who’ve served—and those forever changed by service.

There is never any cost to the veterans or families we serve. All expenses—from gear to guides—are fully covered thanks to generous donors like you.

We Serve:

  • Combat Veterans seeking peace, support, and reconnection
  • Gold Star Families who deserve rest, remembrance, and community

This is more than a nonprofit—it’s a tribe. A family.

And if you believe in honoring service with action, there’s a place for you here too.

Our Mission

At Honor Tribe Outdoors, our mission is to honor the sacrifice of service by offering healing outdoor experiences at no cost to those who need them most.

Through hunting trips, fishing outings, mentorship, and time in the wild, we help our heroes and their families reconnect with themselves, each other, and the land.

March Ranch

Located in the heart of Texas, March Ranch is more than just our home base—it’s a sacred space with deep roots and deeper meaning.

Established in 1899, this multi-generational ranch has been stewarded by the March family for over a century. Its rolling hills, wild herds, and iconic Ruby Hill—named for the family matriarch—serve as the perfect backdrop for rest, reflection, and renewal.

Thanks to the generosity of Zach and Jennifer March, this land was opened to serve a greater purpose: helping those who’ve carried the weight of war find peace in nature.

Zach puts it best:

“When things get overwhelming, it’s nice to go out, be in the awe-inspiring surroundings of the ranch, and re-center. Sharing that peace with veterans and families is why we created this tribe.”
